I can’t get my shit together.
During those semi routine drives to nowhere I do,
I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time.
When I was a kid, I liked standing near the street where cars would pass.
I don’t want to sound like a weirdo or anything, but I always wanted to see what it was
like to get in the way.
About an hour ago, while I was driving home, taking a sharp turn, I wanted to let go
of the wheel.
I didn’t but I fantasized about it on the way home.
