This is my first tattoo. It’s the Studio Ghibli logo/ Totoro. I got it because I’ve always loved Ghbili films. They mean a lot to me.

This is my first tattoo when it was first finished and I just got it done yesterday at Ink Ink Tattoo, my aunt’s shop in Venice. Me and my twin sister got this because we started reading the Calvin & Hobbes comics when we were babies and the relationship that Calvin & Hobbes have is exactly like the relationship between me and my twin. The quote around them is a part of a prayer that my grandma said to everyone in my family every night, before she died last year. She was always close to us and we decided to put the quote in there to remind us that no matter how far away we are from eachother, we would alway be together in our dreams.

I had been wanting Harry Potter themed tattoo for awhile. Severus Snape has been my favorite character since I started devouring the books. I adore him. I always felt there was something more to him then that hard exterior he showed. It reminds me that people are not always what they seem. I can’t express how happy I am with how it turned out. The tattoo artist is Cicely at Cyclops tattoo in San Francisco. She does stellar work.
